You find me
in the sunrises that wake you,
as I search for my way
back to your arms.
You sip your coffee,
and I am still—only watching—
as steam curls from your cup
in whispers of gold and warmth,
reminding me of how it felt
to be with you.
Then suddenly,
I’m the wind in your hair,
and the salt on your skin by the sea.
I glow like the moon
when the night grows too heavy,
and shine like sunlight
breaking through the cold.
I know now
I will see you again.
Because I loved you then,
And I love you, still.

Spoken like a true love poet.
Good write!
A beautiful write, of finding there way to there true love, enjoyed the read
Reinforced with small and faint print like a small voice from a void it calls out to the soul that there is someone out there waiting with love. Nicely done
That’s beautiful ))
