Don’t lean on what cannot stay—
Even your shadow runs away
When night devours the day.
Stand unbowed; defy despair.
Strike the dark—let it taste your glare.
Shed no tears for what must fall;
Burn with fire, fierce and tall.
Then rise where no chains remain—
Where silence sings, and stars unstrain.
Be bold. Be steadfast. Be your own flame.
Yours is a strength no shadow can name.

You are very welcome
Your noble poem is a rallying cry to inner strength and self-reliance. It urges our steadfastness in the face of darkness, reminding us that even when all else fades, our inner fire can still burn bright. Let go of what’s lost, rise unshackled, and let your spirit become its own source of light. True power, it suggests, isn’t borrowed but it’s birthed from within. 🕊️🙏🏻
Your words deepen the light my poem sought to kindle—grateful for a friend who truly sees. 🙏🏻 May we both remember that strength whispers before it roars. Keep shining your own flame; the world needs it.
Most welcome, friend and thanks for your much valued encouragement 🕊🙏🏻
