Dear Me

Vanna

Dear Me,

You realize now— you were never broken. Only bent from carrying too much that wasn’t yours.

You realize you’ve always been enough. Even when they couldn’t see it. Even when you couldn’t.

You remember who you are: the one with light behind her eyes, the one who survived even on days she didn’t want to.

Yes, the scars remain— but they tell stories, not definitions.

And finally, you know the truth they buried:  they never deserved you.

Sincerely,

Future You
