Love in
Deathly throes
A blanket cast
Over final blows
A kiss
From distance
Never reaching
Broken heart is preaching.
Castle remnants
Battle lost
Half awakened eyes
To count the cost
Body to stretch
Shake from
Its length
Emotion cast.
Like garbage
Spent.
Waters ripple
A moving beast
Upon the backs of men
In search of peace
Love in
Deathly throes
A blanket cast
Loves final blows.

very kind comments, thanking you and much appreciated
great great great poem. love to have fun reading this rhythm. though dont assume to know, but I'm feeling an over arching comparison of no matter it be power you feel from love, or the power from a might castle. It all falls down.
yes, all power, no matter how great, crumbles. thanking you and appreciated
