Lost Cause for Love

do I deceive you

when I'm speaking

the truth,

no fault on my part?

my glass coffin

does little to ease

this aching,

shaking,

breaking heart

of mine.

no rest,

none for me,

since the halls of my mind

are haunted by

your memory.

calling out,

falling away from you.

the chains that tie me here,

are resisting.

is anyone going to help me?
