Butterfly.

You cannot take it with you
So share your love around
While you are here.

Butterfly.

Sometimes when I look at a butterfly and.

Watch it fight to enter the world.

Madly fly around in circles.

Rushing backwards and forwards.

Looking like it doesn't know which way to go.

Ducking and hiding from predators.

Trying to do everything quickly because it knows it will die soon.

Then I think.

That Butterfly could be me.

Other times I look at the butterfly and.

Watch it safely transform into a thing of beauty.

Gracefully dancing in the air.

Looking like it is in no rush.

Does not have a care in the world.

Surrounded by families and friends.

Accepting of the life they have.

Being something, people find attractive.

 Then I wish

That Butterfly was me.
