Song of the Temptress by Leonid Derbeneff

Ksey_Gan

Verses

Words of love you told me In the stone city current ,

And lanterns with yellow eyes us were led through the cloudy

I didn’t know how to love like that before fiery, ardent

Carelessly in my soul you woke up a volcano flammable.

Chorus

Help me, astonish!

Help me, astonish!

Call me on the yellow-eyed night enough.

Look as vanishes,

Look as vanishes

Heart in  flammable lava  of love…

Verse

A parrot threatened us mysteriously with a palm branch eagerly ,

And the city drank spicy cocktails and waited for good news.

You called me a clever girl, sweet  girl, even beautyly

But couldn’t understand that you’r joking with a volcano of passions!

Chorus

Verses

The twilight smells of Jamaican rum, blue, long, gore,

And the stone city still dr inks and waits for good news

The sunset has painted the street again with  marvelous colors

But thunderclouds are swirling above the volcano of passions,

Chorus
