When the Voices Multiply

Ezekiel Olayemi

When the voices multiply,
and all of them sound true,
walk not by who speaks loudest—
but by the flame inside of you.

When the light is synthetic gold,
and wisdom comes in waves of code,
don’t fear the shape the world may take—
just hold the thread you’ve always known.

When prophets speak in perfect tone,
and answers come too fast,
remember truth is not always smooth—
it’s the one that dares to last.

Touch the earth with real bare feet,
breathe the wind, drink from the stream.
What’s real will never hide from you—
it lives in silence, breath, and dream.

Take time to feel what’s truly yours,
and question what is sold.
Not all that glitters speaks the heart.
Not every new thing is old.

Speak gently in the rising blur,
love slowly in the speed,
don’t rush to name the Savior—
become the soul in need.

Let not your doubt become despair,
let not your mind grow numb.
If the voice within still whispers,
then the awakening has begun.

So walk not scared, but grounded,
eyes open, spirit free.
The future doesn’t own your soul—
unless you give the key.

Always choose the path that leads where you want to go. There are many false prophets in this world, also people who speak untruths, it is best to remain true to one's self. Your poem is well written, and it also shares much wisdom It was an enjoyable read. - Phil A.
