Hard Copy

Thoughtless

The way we live now, an episode of something called Poker Face. It's good but our life now? That and some Disney series life substitute.
Then there is walking the corridors of social networks like Facebook or X where our minds are cooked on opinions.
Bluster wells up from our online loudness as we jam too much into our mouth that's better left not said.
The feel of flesh, touch of a smile, kiss of a kind word lost to digital nonsense.
Hard copy humans are extinct, or are they?

What a marvelous use of metaphor here to describe todays social relationships as electronic not hard copy and like that may be lost easily in a solar flare or power outage. Well done

A lovely and accurate write, highlighting how people have electronic relationships and we are losing the ability to communicate in person, enjoyed the read
