prayers do not work like
coins pressed into vending machines
god is not waiting on your
order with a notebook in hand
you do not summon grace by
snapping fingers or making lists
faith is not a transaction that
guarantees you what you asked for
stop treating divinity like it owes
you something for simply showing up
god whispers through the winds and
the cracks in your breaking heart
teaching you that life is bigger
than willpower alone can handle
surrender is not weakness but
an unlearning of selfish desires
the universe loves with a fierce
patience you cannot yet understand

Gray you have hit it on the head by stepping on toes. In a world that feels entitled you have pointed out that things do not come that way. A powerful piece that pulls no punches and tells it as it is. A fave Oh by the way that will cost you ten Hail Marys and five Our Fathers.
Thanks Soren I appreciate your feedback
