Red kiss

Lorenz

Red kiss that bites the flesh of the night ,

seeking oblivion in the void of a scarred mirror

where shadows implore ...

Orchid laid on ambiguous lips ,

perhaps dement crystal on fire

on a China sea  wave ,

lethal embrace between day and life...

Red kiss, drunkeness lost between

moon and light ,

 delicious venom ...

Spicy languor at the dawn

on a  thousand and one lonely nights...

Burning scarlet on  Lolita's womb .

The serpent's moist skin

embrace the bark of time .

Rain erases desire from the marble

of memory ...

Aniseed taste of  cursed pleasure

on the sorcery of your chasms ,

ivory passion yellowed in history

and asleep in the orchard of delights .

Great birds frozen in the amber

of farewell ...

Red kiss ,you have the heavy flight

of midnight creatures

that feast on lover's bruise ...

 Engulfed in the sulphurous kiss,

walking on the thread of a oath

where everything ends up ,

silent sound in the sand ..

Red kiss, final  sparkle,

 fiery embers ,

in the twilight of a dying season...

Absinth liquor of hallucination seems present in this poem. Nicely written Gray

I take this allusion to cursed absinth as a compliment !

Poetic alchemy of desire and memory.

As you know I proceed by visions without absinth or grass !
