None Left

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Sinner won the men's final down at Wimbledon,

I guess that the Antichrist's reign has now begun.

Whatever happened to having a moral structure?

Goodness cut up like meat from the local butcher.

All out for self, what happened to showing care?

Selfless people these days really are quite rare.

Swamped souls turned away from the Holy Spirit,

Trying to awaken the lost but they'll never hear it.

Took some time out of working to fully reflect,

Feel solace being alone, no friends, none left.

Poem in commentary worked well in this case. Nicely spoken

OOh. What a Sinner, indeed. Like literally, it's his name! LOL! My friend, this one hits with a heavy, unsettled energy. The symbolism in that first line is sharp—definitely made me pause. There's a lot of tension here between cultural frustration, spiritual disillusionment, and personal grief. It reads like both a reckoning and a lament. Well done! 🌹👏

An unfortunate surname there. I wanted Joe Bloggs to win. Did he play tennis?! lol.
But some are fussy, and won't use internet sites which include 'daemon'. Arghhh!!
