Line up the constellations

Georgia Watson

Line up the constellations:

Your today is my tomorrow,

Open your heart like you open your eyes. Line up the constellations, a message in disguise.

Time is of the essence, pain is necessary now. Sunlight no more, tears slip to the floor.

My stars are shaped like scars,

Scars of those you healed.

Don’t leave me alone out here, line up the constellations in fear.

Wow, Georgia! Wow. That line...โ€œmy stars are shaped like scarsโ€...wrecked me in the best way. I love how you wrap cosmic imagery around very human pain and plea. It reads like a prayer whispered into the void, hoping someoneโ€™s still listening. ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘ Excellent job, my dear friend! A fave.
