drunk like oil spills on water
your lips bloom open on mine
between us the heat, the weight
body to body, the sea hums
we drift on petals of longing
fingers tracing soft gold ribbons
the sky folds, the sun whispers
its final warmth into our skin
caught between time’s fleeting breath
surrendered to tides of desire
we wake with salt in our mouths
earth calling us back to her ash
but in the dark, we return home
to the fortress of your mouth
where kisses weave nets of fire
and bodies lie whole, unbroken
