My love pours down like diamonds in Neptune

Catching every drop hoping you don’t get a glass wound

I never meant to fall for you like this

We were young but so in tune

Don’t let me forget of the times we groomed

Of all the instants when I was your muse

Heat fills my body but I feel cold

Summer started, we talked about it

Now you’re gone and im left uncertain

Of what could’ve been if I wasn’t broken

Your touch, wrapped me like moms love

I felt safe, like I was home

I feel so much

I mourn so much

I cry so much

I heard sad passion is not good passion

But how could it not be?

In sadness, life and art is created

I let my soul heal with therapies of tears

She speaks to me, at night

We talk through my dreams

She tells me how pretty I am and im being seen

It’s only a few hours that my light dims

I wake up close where the shoreline meets

Don’t call me names

I am protected

The halo above is not mine to claim

Mother I’ve sin, father I’ve sin

If one day you were to forgive me

Let it be under the moonlight ring

Sad and mournful yet wistful and haunting a poem of past love. Lovely
