Listen up, listen up,
I know out there it gets rough,
Feel normal but been through some stuff.
Sometimes feel like I've got a broken brain,
Been down those rabbit holes, trying to maintain.
Questioning all the lies that we've been sold,
Not insane though, psychosis had a firm grip and hold.
Demons attack the mind, it's not a chemical imbalance,
Science and modern day meds are a poisoned chalice.
Are we playing God's game in this realm ruled by Satan?
Only the creator holds blueprints and the final plan.

If you feel strong where your are now, man - stay with it.
Thanks pal, appreciate it, am doing well.
A good deal of truth here. A thought provoking poem science vs I deamonds very nicely written
Cheers very much!
This is raw and real here, Shawn...and I know you've lived through the storm. I don't see science as an enemy or a friend...it's really neutral. What gets me worked up is when agendas hide behind "the science." In my own journey with mental health, some treatments and meds have helped...others, not so much. For me, the danger comes when corporate or political motives override the actual science. Too much of that goes on and we all know it. š¹š As for demons, you and I both know they're real...and there ain't no magic pill to get rid of them. There is the grace of Lord and Savior though! Praise God for that! This piece certainly got the thought-juices flowing, my friend, and for that I am always thankful!
Thanks pal, I guess the biggest issue I have with science is the lies they use with it like evolution. Oh yeah prayer is the only thing that seems to rid us of the demons, thanks very much for the great comment!
You are most welcome.
Brilliant commentary on mental health and pharmaceuticals, spirituality and truth. Hope you are recovering well on your journey Shaun. You really have insight and a gift! Elizabeth
All good thank you, a lot better than I was.
Iām glad you are in recovery dear. You have immense insight and your work is amazing. Sometimes suffering can open up these channels for good. Iām so glad you are feeling better. Elizabeth
It means a lot honestly, thank you for that.
Unseen influences are real.
