Forever, maybe?

Ladywithaquill

Honey, I hope this isn’t something,

That just lasts six years,

And I hope I don’t give all my youth,

To someone who’ll disappear.

And I was just starting to believe,

In a forever with you,

Before my insecurities crept in again,

Will you break my heart too?

And I am scared of the treacherous fates,

The ones who brought you to me,

I fear they shall soon snatch you away,

And I’ll be left with our debris.

That our paths were meant to cross

But not to remain intertwined

And I now live for the brief moments

That you let me call you mine.

But the warmth of your embrace,

Drives all my fears away.

I rest my head against your chest,

And to Sweet Music we sway.
