my monument to you
is long abandoned,
nature has come to claim it.
what are you to do?
as I walk through
the valley of the shadow,
I know I am home,
what are we to do?
the door to
you chamber under fog,
undetectable.
what am I to do?

thank you!
Your poem is haunting and beautifully atmospheric. The evocative imagery and recurring questions create a tender sense of loss and introspection. Subtle spiritual undertones and vivid metaphors make this piece linger in the readerโs mind.
