I hate the moon
For it reflects my shine
It stole all the love
Which was once all mine
People hate me now
They say I burn their eyes
But there was a time
When I was worshipped
For giving them light
Loved for being their guide
I betrayed the moon tonight
I slaughtered it among the stars
Using all good lies
It died tardily
The blood didn't clot
The new scars were evident
Nothing was left for concealment
The night is now pitch black
The oceans are bloodshot
The waves pull back everything which lay on their track
The dawn will erase
Every piece of moon
For its met its storyline
And I will have the love
Which was once all mine

Well written poetry.....
Thank youu
You are very welcome
A unique poem of jealousy in metaphor it may speak of a person but as it speaks of nature it personifies the heavenly bodies. Well done and quite original.
Means a lot, thank you!
You are most welcome
A original write of jealously, claiming it back from heavenly bodies, very nicely written
Means a lot, thank you
