I Said No

Xalvazora

He knocks on my door,
Without making connections.
I peep through the hole,
Curious.

He's standing there,
I know him.
I open the door,
Greeting him like an old friend.

Stepping inside,
He looks around.
Suspecting something,
He's scanning for my friend.

"Where's your friend?",
He asks.
They're not interested in him.
"They don't stay here anymore.",
I replied.

Why are you asking for them?
We go to sit down,
Conversation starts.

After a while,
He looks at me,
A familiar look in his eyes.
I know that look.
"Come over and give me a kiss."

I smile,
The idiot I am.
Knowing where this will lead,
I go to him.

I leaned down,
We kissed.
Knowing my boundaries,
I break away the escalation.

I don't want him.
I don't want to,
Even if I'm needy -
It's not necessary,
So I can wait for another.

He asks for more,
I said, "No."
The look in his eyes,
He's not buying it.
I frown,
Worried.

He starts to beg,
I gave in.

I don't want this.

He wants to do something,
On my face.

I want to scream.

"I don't want that."
He wants me to take him,
In my mouth.

I need to scream,

But I couldn't.
If he wants to do this,
I give him protection.

He laughs,
Tossing it aside.
"We don't need that."
He pushes me on the bed,

I'm scared.

Forcing himself on me,
I feel powerless.
After that,
He left -
Told me he loves me.

My face feels gross,

My body feels gross.

I contact a friend,
Telling what he did.
Told me not to shower,
And call the police.

Feeling disgusting,
And overstimulated,
I take a shower.

Calling the police,
I tell them everything.

The results made me smile.

Even though not incarcerated,
He lost his job,
His apartment,
His car.

Who knew family could be this cruel?

Sad and tragic a story of going beyond the boundaries that one feels. Graphic and dark. Well written in short bursts that convey the urgency and anxiety of the situation.

    The story has tragic tone.....
Love has become a tool of exploitation.....
Reveal your anxiety by writing ......
