I wish I could ask.

Baker

I wish I could ask.

What things matter most?

What I should carry?

What I should let go?

Do these choices carry weight?

When I leave this cage.

Finally free to spread these wings.

And make my way to you.

Have others walked these steps?

Had the same fears.

Wished upon the same stars.

Wiped away the same tears.

All I ever wanted.

Was to leave a beautiful mark.

A small reminder.

The faintest memory.

That I was here.
