Soulmates

Sunflowersinrain

Times like these make a heart pound. Music playing for perfect occasions, and a stranger more beautiful

Then anyone could imagine.

Locking eyes for the first time,

And feeling that spark of electricity. Knowing,

You shouldn’t want them,

But feeling so drawn by their energy. The intoxication of a feeling,

whole by just a look.

The feeling of someone you once knew,

Yet meeting for the first time.

The tension between the two.

So thick that it’s hard to ignore. Finally, getting to just be near them,

in a more intimate way.

And not wanting the night to end. That’s how it feels,

when you find someone,

that is worth everything.

Even the pain leaving brings.
