LITTLE GRANDA

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

The boy
Only 3 years old
Shouts his dad
Hes shaking cold
The ghost he says
Touched his face
Before disappearing
Like grey lace.

Gentling quizzing
Over what he said
Now calmed down
By his dad
Did the ghost speak
Say who he was ?
Hes little granda
The boy he said.

Eerily endearing, the ghost of love in the form of his grandfather visiting his grandson. A hauntingly beautiful poem and true as well. Well done.

Wishing you all the very best and the little boy, too,

    Tony.
