How they play

Baker

In the tall grass.

How they play.

My three dogs together.

Nothing more innocent, pure, or profound.

Noses they twitch for new scents.

Wind it gusts across the yard.

Pause to hear distant sounds.

Warm sun a welcome friend.

I know your stay is short.

I know goodbye will be hard.

But your love pure, and everlasting.

Will forever warm our hearts.

So bark to protect us.

From the unknown creatures in the dark.

And lay with us while we sleep.

So no one can bring us harm.

My three dogs.

Who’s love eternal.

God’s purest of creations.

Our most loyal protectors.

Our best friends.
