Three pigeons sit on a roof
they sit there
whilst the rain falls
All that needs to sigh
just simply sighs
the sky is raining
too much warmth
and maybe it’s tired ,
maybe it’s too much
so the rain falls
yet the poor pigeons are softly standing
feeling the rain
feeling the rain fall
maybe it’s too much
and it’s easier for them to just sit on the roof for now
maybe they are waiting for the rain to leave
so they can travel
again
or maybe they are tired
so they simply sit
until they wish to go elsewhere

Often we do not understand the motives of others we see. Out in the rain is a term often used and why one would choose to sit so voluntarily instead of under a eve we don't understand. In need of a shower? Simply like the feel? Need to cool off? Who knows? Do we not do the same with people?
