You swore to me that you weren't the same
Changed for the better
Trusted that you were being sincere
Sweet gestures and kind words -
You were always good at that
Sharing laughs together, holding hands, kisses out of the blue
Perhaps, it was true, a changed man
So it seems
Day by day the conversations got shorter and longer time spans in between
Only reaching out when needing something from me
Playing games to mess with the heart and mind
Not going to be one of many or an option at best
One and only from here on out
One minute you're hot and the next minute you're cold
Still want to have many and your player ways, too?
Kick rocks down Shoedabaker Lane -
Guess what?
I'm out!!
Put your big boy pants on and decide
This is getting to be too damn old

Words in this poem, tell of a person where talk is cheap. It is hard to change a style or pattern. Boundary set nicely said.
Thank you. Like you said talk is cheap. You know the old saying go is you're nothing if you don't have your word. And then there is also actions speak louder than words. Well just my matter of opinion and how I see things I want my words and actions to meet each other if not go beyond one.
You are most welcome
Your poem describes how a man changes ....
You are right ...
