Let me stitch my dream dress
Fabric of faith, a gown of grace
With hope threads and lovely lace
Not hers not yours— it'mine, new and fresh
I punch the buttons of bravery
Spend my soul's sewing treasury
No rainbow beauty , no comouflage
I like the color of character and courage
No Jaipuri veil, no chanderi silk
No parrot-green, no white like milk
Let Deccan keep its cotton charm
And kalamkari' grace South's arm
My classy dress is mine
In my dream dress I'll shine

Beautiful sonnet, my friend! “I like the color of character and courage”…what a line. You didn’t just craft a dress...you claimed your space. No borrowed fabric, no borrowed voice. And yes…it sings, Priya. Beautifully done. 🌹👏

Wow, sorry, I just had to pick my jaw up off the floor. Incredible, with all due respect. I enjoyed it so much. It conveys pride, beauty, courage, and joy. A very knowledgeable piece on the craft. Thank you so much for sharing. Best regards.
