Why not tell the truth

Caring dove

So

you can sit there and reply when I talk to you

but not be honest

And tell the truth

then wander why I might get a bit upset

your telling me your one person

when I know your another

And your expecting me to believe you when you say certain things

well I don’t

so you carry on not admitting the truth

but I know the truth

so why keep telling me otherwise

what’s the point to not admit it

surely be better to admit it

rather than not

Maybe think about it

truth is like looking at a painting… you see one thing the other sees another… let the truth strip the painting down to what it is, a painting

I’m not sure what you mean
      But thanks for the comment

Dove, this reads like a real-time reckoning…no decoration, just straight to the bone. Your line...“what’s the point to not admit it”—says more than it seems to. Sometimes truth is the only kindness left. Beautifully done. 🌹👏

Thankyou )) maybe I’m expecting too much .. for him to admit the truth . He is being nice to me .. just got done reason isn’t telling me it’s him .. bit confusing . I can’t make someone tell the truth if they don’t want to ..

Thankyou very much for the kind words

Been struggling a little bit today with things

Sometimes a day just feels a bit ‘ rubbish ‘

          You are most welcome.

"Been struggling a little bit today with things". Sorry to hear this, dear friend. I am keeping you in my prayers.

"Sometimes a day just feels a bit ‘ rubbish ‘". And how! Indeed, sometimes it does. Praying for a better day for you tomorrow, my friend.

Good advice in a poem nicely written

            Thankyou ..
Yeah but sometimes people won’t tell the truth no matter how much you want them to ( or even if it upsets you ) that’s their problem tho

It's never easy to relate to someone who blatantly lies. The only bright spot, if there is one, is that you see right through them. Good write!

Thankyou ! I can talk to this person and I do feel comfortable at times .. but yeah sometimes I feel bit uncomfortable when I feel they are lying

                Thanks very much

Could you tell me that love lies to tell a greater truth? Show me your cards; I don't play with a dog's face. I could understand very well the situation it evokes, the exploding heart, the fiery blood. Thank you so much for sharing. Best regards.
