Some people are made to be happy, some people are made to be strong,

Some of us let ourselves feel happiness and then we realize that we were completely wrong.

Everytime we let our guard down, it all would happen again,

And it seems like it's a vicious cycle that is never going to end.

You allow yourself to smile, you allow yourself to become filled with hope,

And when it falls apart, you are left trying to find new ways to cope.

It seems like everytime this happens, you fall apart a little bit more,

And it seems like you can't remember what you are even fighting for.

You know you are on a mission that is so much bigger than you,

Because you are doing this for everyone who knows what you are going through.

For the underdog who has another battle to fight,

To the ones who always feel defeated and think they can't do anything right.

For the ones who were told promises that no one ever tried to keep,

For the ones who are climbing up a mountain that seems a little too steep.

It is for every time someone told you no,

And for all the times you were laughed at for the places that you were dreaming of being able to go.

The people who made you believe that you couldn't do it,

For all the times they made you doubt yourself and made you feel like you needed to quit.

Maybe you have been focused on the wrong thing,

And maybe what you have been chasing is not going to give you the joy that you thought it would bring.

You constantly feel alone,

And you feel like you need to do it all on your own.

It makes you feel like you have nothing left to give,

But maybe this is setting you up for the left you were meant to live.

The one where all of your dreams come true,

The one where you finally see the purpose of everything that you went through.

The one where you become everything you have ever dreamed of,

And the one where your redirection was a gift from above.

Maybe right now feeling happy is not a part of your story,

Maybe it is setting you up to find your glory.
