I know I love you different,
Because if you killed someone,
I would help you hide the body,
And no questions will ever be asked.
I know I love you different,
Because I would hurt everyone,
To keep you from feeling hurt,
A tear in your eye, is a tear in mine.
I know I love you different,
Because every time I hug you,
I dread the inevitable moment,
When I must loosen my embrace again.
I know I love you different,
Because I cannot wait to travel,
With you always right beside me,
Beaches, forests, mountains and cliffs.
I know I love you different,
Because you are the only one,
Who has never not known me.
And my most beautiful memory is you.

- Comment from author about the poem: Dedicated to my little sister. Growing up together was amazing, and I wish I could have been more present for longer.

This sounds more like a mother's love that is unconditional. This makes it clear that this love is strong and by the author's note a blood love. Nicely done.
Sometimes older siblings love like parents, I guess. Glad you liked it!
You are most welcome
