A pretty parrot smiled
Lovely leaves offered whispers mild
Throughout the silent nights they spoke
Secrets of soul and lamp awoke
Then,storm forced leaves to weep
Green wings forgot promises to keep.

What a beautiful landscape it describes. A beautiful feeling. What a sad but real ending. I enjoyed it very much. Thank you for sharing. Best regards.
Thank for reading...
Priya, my friend, this is a gentle and dreamlike, almost a whisper. The parrot, the leaves, the green wings…each image feels like it carries something sacred. Lovely work. 🌹👏
Thank you so much.
Your lovely comment always encourages me.....
This is a lovely verse, Priya, so delicately woven as if done with a whisper of poetic threads. You are to be admired and praised for this. Thank you very much.

Tony.
