Whispering to weep

Priya Tomar

A pretty parrot smiled

Lovely leaves offered whispers mild

Throughout the silent nights they spoke

Secrets of soul and lamp awoke

Then,storm forced  leaves to weep

Green wings forgot promises to keep.

Priya, my friend, this is a gentle and dreamlike, almost a whisper. The parrot, the leaves, the green wings…each image feels like it carries something sacred. Lovely work. 🌹👏
