You dont get mad when they can't see your invisible wings
You feel them protruding through your back bone
They elevate you so,
When you need to, you fly away
When you need to, you sit and stay
Talk the day away
Laughing until the sun goes away
Your radiance is imperfect
Your experience is important
You are not broken because they made it so
You are surviving, cheerful and thriving
Don't let them change you, break, or re-arrange you
You've been on the healing,
Winding road and feeling
Whenever you feel you aren't getting anywhere
Look at where you used to be
Look at who you used to see
Your wings were once battered, beaten and bruised
Now theyre flourishing for you to use

An evolution described in this work. A lovely poem of an angel that may well be a metaphor as well. Nicely done
A sense of someone has come through difficult times and is now ready to fly the world, enjoyed the read
