CLM

We thought it was done,

It was finally over.

We thought we could walk through that door

And never look back.

We thought we had won,

We had beat all that hurt us.

But just one night proved

How vulnerable we still are to the attack.

It takes us back to a time

When all seemed hopeless.

Back to a place

When we could find no other way.

The walls that we’ve built,

The promises broken,

Are what we’ve learned to live with

Day after Day.
