Good vibes

Natalie Heisey

Life threw punches, knocked me low,

Thought I'd break, put on a show

Of defeat, but something sparked,

A fire within, though slightly dark.

It's 'bout the good mixed with the strong,

Climbing rocks where shadows belong.

Kicked the bad vibes to the curb,

Riding high on every superb.

Lingering whispers, chilling fears,

Echoes of those wasted years.

But the past ain't got no hold,

Future's blazing, brave and bold.

It's 'bout the good mixed with the strong,

Climbing rocks where shadows belong.

Kicked the bad vibes to the curb,

Riding high on every superb.

Remember the tears, the silent cries?

Felt like my spirit up and dies.

But in those cracks, a light so bright,

Bursting forth with all its might.

Now I'm dancing in the pouring rain,

Letting go of all the pain.

It's 'bout the good mixed with the strong,

Climbing rocks where shadows belong.

Kicked the bad vibes to the curb,

Riding high on every superb.

Good vibes only, that's the key,

Setting my wild spirit free.

Good vibes only, watch me soar,

Living life like never before.
