Glass and porcelain heart

Poet's Dream

Our hearts are fragile things

Made of porcelain and glass

You have to be careful

Of who you let touch

Your heart

A touch too rough

Or careless

Could shatter your fragile heart

Jagged and broken

Laying on the floor

You have to be patient now too

For you might cut the ones

Who try to help

Clean up the mess of someone else

A well developed metaphor over relationships and their consequences. Nicely written
