Please listen to my prayers, I know that I'm flawed,
Navigating through, not even wanting an award.
Trying to be good, God please save my soul,
Staggering on a narrow path, avoiding Hell's hole.
Surely our actions are due to life's circumstances?
Seems like we all didn't get those same chances.

Good write SM.
Thanks mate.
Life is unequal but all we can do is try , enjoyed the read
Indeed, thank you.
You are very welcome
A most philosophical question here and it poses deep thought about the concept of justice, fairness and other human concepts in a religious world. Nicely done
I do try! Thanks!
You are welcome
Deep. And yes...it's far more complicated than B&W, good from wrong. Okay, maybe not ALWAYS...but we only ever see the external appearance of someone. Not what is ACTUALLY going on inside...and so yeah, "we all didn't get those same chances." Hits home and rings true. Well done, Shawn! 🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Oh yeah grey areas for sure, thanks pal.
