Dear Jason

Georgia Watson

Dear Jason:

Dear Jason,

There are days when I dream that you’re still here with me, that we’re laughing together like we used to do. I think of the future sometimes, you’re always with me, making hard times better. I can’t say everything, even if I wanted to, it wouldn’t fit into something like this. I know that one day, hopefully in the near future that I see you again, that you’re out that. But for now, I love you. And I always will.

I hear people say things about you, but until I see those things, I’m by your side. Always and forever.

I miss your laugh, your face, the way you’d make fun of me in ways that wouldn’t hurt, the fact if one of us was upset we could go to the other. I know I’m talking like you’re dead even though you’re not, sometimes it feels that way.

But I hope, that in whatever life you’re in, you’re happy. And I hope that I’m there with you.

A poem of missing someone and it speaks of hope of seeing them again. Lovely
