Relic

Damaso

My struggle travels, driven
sacral plexus of the explosion
constant rattling heard
I went against everyone for your message
Kerberos, guardian, fights the shadows
I chose to be feared and judged
sword stuck in the ground
pierces the satyr's head
without losing its sacred glow
I am guardian of our Relic
resides in the main pantheon
above, the thickest branch of the clan
usually protects from the infamous advance
my voracious gaze threatens your fear
like a blowing breeze, the last letter
from a castle perched on cowardly deceptions
bells on a sunny Sunday
guttural moans fly away
I promised before the black pilgrim
to steal from you again, a sprig of cedron.

A darkened and quite intimidating character, choosing to be like that, born with a dark soul, on a lighter note it reminded me of when I was married!!, enjoyed the resd

What a dense and striking piece, my friend. The sacred and the savage pulse side by side here...mythic and defiant. I love it.. Truly, an excellent job, Damaso. 🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Your poem explores themes of struggle, guardianship, and the interplay between fear and protection. It presents a narrative of a guardian figure, possibly representing a protector of cultural or spiritual relics, who confronts the challenges and fears associated with their role. The use of mythological references (e.g., Kerberos) and symbols (e.g., sword, relic) suggests a deeper commentary on personal and collective responsibility, the burdens of judgment and fear, and the complexity of loyalty and defiance. The poem hints at a journey that involves both internal and external battles, perhaps reflecting the conflicts faced by individuals who stand against societal norms for a greater cause.

Well I am very happy that my humble text has generated such an analysis display since I see that it has connected with it. You have described it in such a beautiful way that it made me excite. For others successful although I would call him an attempt to reflect. Thank you very much for taking the time to move to read and also leave his words of breath. Kind regards!
