A message for Akhenaten:
Did you touch the blessing?
Were you the one to change?
Your words did strike a chord.
The world did rearrange.
Did David take your psalm, and sanctify your ways?
Total roundabout; pharonic antiphase.
I see a drama carved neath hyperbolic rays,
the smile of one who knows what makes a renegade.
I hope I hear correctly, the hymn from your short days -
another path, integrity,
(antithetical plays in
polytheistic days)
Royal was your vision, as sands were set ablaze,
for Aten carved your vissage, and paved your transverse ways.
