Subway of no cares

dillonkind

Train brakes screeching pierces my brain

Unassuming people preaching,

Scamping in all ways as they exit off the train.

Frozen looks icy stares, emotionless going about your days close to each other but no one really cares.

In a train window I look at my reflection.

See myself staring back I keep going in my direction . Suddenly another train passes my image goes black. And in that moment I felt saddened by all of this.

A cry for human connection as I see my dark reflection ,as I run towards the bliss

A poem that observes that in all the confusion and rush of mankind there is no connection. Well written

A nicely expressed write of the world we live in, ever increasing lack of human connection as we charge through life, enjoyed the read
