Whispering Storm

Violet_Writes

Fast waves, moon aglow,
The wind whispers soft and slow,
As I wait for raindrops to fall,
I wonder when life's storms will stall.

Will they truly fade away?
Feels like they’re here to stay,
So I'll wait and softly pray,
For my storm to end one day.

Afraid to leave, yet I ponder,
Would they miss me, make me fonder?
I care so deeply, but do they see?
Even though I've thought of leaving,
My mind says, "You'll regret it by the evening."

If it's calm after the storm's embrace,
I wish mine would find its grace.
But I'm in the outer band,
So, I'll take shelter and stand,
Pray these thoughts to fade away,
And hope my storm ends with the day.

No matter what your mind may say,
Don't let your storm take you away.

A encouraging and positive message, we all have storms to ride, but don't let them overpower you, nicely expressed and written

With good rhyme and most careful wording this poem carries the reader through the storm. Nicely done
