The Wounded Harlot

mtrotter1

Pink roses grow upon her face

Where is the black pearl lace?

For the everyday world is full of judgment!

In the land of opportunity, she is one!

She is one with the universe

She is one with God;

Who knows the truth without saying?

For the wounded harlot is the wounded warrior

And the sun respects her wholeheartedly,

This relapse that she is experiencing

Is one of many

But her heart is good to the Lord!

Sappy roses lie in her honor

Upon the bed of eternity,

For the world never respects the harlot

For the harlot is misunderstood

Her words cut like a knife

Yet the devil wears Prada!

Oh where is the wounded harlot

Who dances upon the roses?

For the roses are very deep

In her revelry,

For her revelry is very deep!

Just imagine the world

Without the wounded harlot,

The wounded harlot of change!

Let Jesus hold her

In high regard,

Let the stars change her mind

For the stars know

The wisdom that she carries;

I want the roses to rise

For the wounded harlot,

I want everyone to respect her

For she carries a love so deep

I want the angels to reunite her

With her mother

For she misses her mother very much,

And I want her to get off the streets

For these streets aren't loyal...

For the wounded harlot

Can be anybody's best friend

Yet the problem is

That her heart is simply too big

She lies on the ground

Dead and wounded

Because the world doesn't see her

But God does...

Sirens are going off

And people are screaming,

Where is our best friend now?

For the wounded harlot is God's child

And God's child is dying.

Hello, I am the wounded harlot

I f**k men for free

I carry the roses that die

And all the sun ever did for me

Was shine my light even brighter...

But now I don't want to be on this earth anymore

Because I never had a chance,

And in order to survive this world

I shall separate myself from it

For I am the wounded harlot

God carry me to the sun.
