Kuch kehna chahte thhe hum, par kahe bhi toh kya kahe?
Sunne-ka shaukh hai tumhe, par baatein sirf tumhi karte rahe
Tumbhi ajeeb ho, bahaane bhi tumhare kamaal ke
Sunne ki baat thi, par tum thhe hi sawaal ke
Yuuhi toh daur-e-zindegi mein kitni rahi pareshaniyaa,
Saare gham-e-ikhtiyar na ho, dil mein chahe rahe mausam-e-khamoshiyaa
Hazaar baatein thi kehne ko, magar sunne waala na tha koyi
Afsos ke iss zindagi mein, mujhe samajhne waala mila na koyi
