16 mirrors

Krissy.V

16 mirrors as I look at my eyes in the mirrors I wanna die 16 mirrors not a piece of glass in mind yet I just rewind. Rewind?Rewind like the trauma in my eyes repeating as if it’s stuck in time. Time I like time as a clock chimes I feel fine.16 mirrors break but you’ll only be left with nine.

A sense of the mirrors are reflecting years and something traumatic happened after the ninth, nicely expressed and written

This poem is most intriguing and I take it symbolic. I too each mirror as a year and trauma breaks them but the nine that are left is that the age that trauma began? A sad poem well written.
