The Archangel Michael defeating Satan by Guido Reni

Jon Nakapalau

From whence now cometh thy pride?

I have defeated thee; what folly must have twisted thy reason -
For knowing he whom I serve - still thou allowed vanity to rule thee to ruin.
Rue this day - yet prepare for worse!

Thy final judgement comes from one greater than I -
A shepherd who returns as king,
A king whose blood was shed for all,

Seeping unto dominion without end!

A poem that appears prophetic in nature and a warning. Nicely written
