The Loneliest Soul

cassiopeiaxneptune

I have never felt
so alone
in my life.

I do not
belong here.

I never have,
and I never will.

For a split second,
I think that I have
found my place
in this world,
and I feel...
slightly reassured
and comforted.

But it all just...
goes away
in a blink of an eye,
and I am right back
to where I started.

For another second,
I find myself
wanting to fit in,
but then,
I finally realize...
that it is better
to be out of this world,
than to be in it.
