Summer Clouds

Lorna

The clouds that cross the summer sky

Languishing before hot lanterns of the sun

Softly call for the rain to follow

Whisper damp rustles to the trees

And moist kisses to the heat baked earth

Cast shadows over us

Tying us to all

And all of this to us

A beautiful poem of nature well imaged and painted. It may well be something more as well a metaphor perhaps. Loved it
