Every generation speaks of how the next one is different, usually in a pejorative manner. This poem speaks of it changing the rules of the game. Nicely worded.

Too, true what you have wrote here and well said. It's very hard to keep up with the changes and especially what people get away with these days. That being said, I still have my bicycle, an electric one at that, I must admit, apart from that, I'm a luddite, well nearly - hahaha!

In my day we where never in the house
Some now hardly leave and have a virtual existence
I only hope they get as long a run as i did

each succeeding generation feels it is much smarter than the one that preceded it - true in some respects, but unlike the older one, the current one is more assertive, sometimes brash, and not too respectful - they may learn to sober up given time and experience - so if they are changing the world for better, we should support; otherwise we should guide them
