Beneath the sky of twilight’s hue,
Where stars ignite the ocean’s view,
The waves, they dance, a gentle plea,
In whispers soft, the voice of sea.
It tells of time, both old and vast,
Of ships once sailed, their shadows cast,
Of treasures lost and hearts set free,
All cradled deep beneath the sea.
The moonlight paints a silver crest,
On every wave, a shining vest,
Its melody, a tranquil spree,
A lullaby sung by the sea.
So sit and watch, and let it be,
This ancient song, eternity,
For in its depths, there lies a key,
To dreams beyond the boundless sea.

A beautiful poem of the sea and if one takes it in metaphor of the soul as well. Nicely done
A wonderful write of the ups and downs of the sea, equally could be the soul as well, nicely expressed and written
Nice! I would live on the sea if I could.
