Distance

CuriousWanderer

What is distance?

Is it the length between two physical points?

Yes.

But there are other types of distance too.

Emotional distance.

How far am I really from the one I love?

Yes, on the map we're far apart.

But I am always only a phone call away.

Distance is relative

It has shrunk quite a bit

From the days of horse and buggy

To today with planes and phones

So on the days you feel lonely

Sad and mad

Remember

Soon we'll again be at the same point in space

Another form of distance is time

And I know for sure that our timelines

Will soon meet up again

Turning physical distance to zero

Yes, our bodies are far apart

We can't kiss or cuddle

But our minds are close as can be

Only a phone call apart

And soon our bodies

Will be entangled again

Occupying the same point

In time and space

Nicely written on the differences of space and distance, physical and emotional. Here we may have a phone to connect but even death can not distance those that are connected. Nicely written

A lovely write around space between physical and emotional distance, if we are connected in any way it will remain so even in death, nicely expressed and written
